You will remember the story of the Bolla couple.
One of the members of an elderly, retired couple, completely paralysed by a stroke, is cared for by his wife day after day to the best of his ability. We had once provided them with a lifting bed, but unfortunately they needed something else to enable them to provide everyday care in humane conditions and with a good quality of life. The chair costs 277.000 Ft, we would like to raise the amount!
Every day they spend hours in the air, but they do it all with a worn-out wheelchair that does not support Zoltan's body. The couple would therefore need a special chair to ensure proper care and daily walking and movement. This is of a suitable design, something that Zoltan does not need to be particularly concerned about.
The couple, who live in Gérce in Vas County, have very little money to live on from month to month, which is made very difficult by the need to buy medicines due to the illness, and recently the wife was plagued by a month-long illness which made care difficult. They have already needed a nurse, which is also a huge expense.
We have joined forces to get a new wheelchair so that the elderly couple can live in dignity!
