We launched Dolorosa Foundation in Sárvár, Hungary during the summer of 2019. We wanted to create a charity and online platform that is not only innovative and unique, but also honest, transparent and traceable, using state-of-the-art technology.
Based on Christian values, Dolorosa is a humanitarian, non-profit organisation whose primary purpose is to locate and support, mainly through aid programs and campaigns, the poor, the distressed, the sick, or those suffering from disease.
The expression of social solidarity also extends to health, environment and education by mobilising material, moral and intellectual resources.
Donations reach 100% of those in need, which can be tracked by the donor using the online platform. The resources required for operation and administration are provided by the founders and their sponsors.
All incoming enquiries are investigated by the Foundation with the most care to ensure the help gets to where it is most needed.
A cornerstone of the plans of the Foundation is to have volunteers present in every county who, with the best insight and knowledge at the local level, successfully map out local problems and strive to find solutions.
Everyone is welcome and can participate in the life of the Foundation, from the youngest to the eldest. Be it financial support, physical work, intellectual background, expertise or simply offering free time.
