With the help of the local council, we managed to reach those most in need of help in Sárvár. We closed on wonderful weekends, with the collected donations - HUF 755,720 - we managed to support 3 local families during the Christmas season, who were in difficult financial circumstances. They had modest requests, some were happy with a vacuum cleaner, refrigerator, washing machine or simply children's clothes and sports equipment.
Turner's Café contributed to our success by selling gingerbread coffees. The Christmas fair was not just a fair and countless program opportunities for us, but time spent together, community building, and a sense of belonging. I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to all those who participated in this noble campaign.
As Andrea Koday-Vörös, the founder of the Dolorosa Foundation, highlighted: "It was a heartwarming feeling to experience that my hometown is able to unite and help those in need. I was especially happy that we were able to involve students in the campaign. I feel it is important that as many young people as possible participate in voluntary work, even if you have to stand at a stand for hours in minus degrees. In the year 2024, we are looking for dedicated volunteers, supporters and entrepreneurs who can help the life of the foundation on a monthly basis. Please stay with us and follow us so that we can continue our valuable work together. We guarantee that 100% of your donation will reach those in need."
